CONTEXT
Vestas commissioned Khora to produce a promotional film for the launch of their flagship V236 turbine—currently the largest wind turbine in production. The project aimed to visually showcase the turbine’s scale and innovation for a major public debut.
SOLUTION
Khora handled the entire production in-house, developing the storyboard, script, 3D modeling, custom a 2D render pipeline, water simulations, animation, and sound design. Special emphasis was placed on high-fidelity water rendering, particularly for an immersive underwater sequence featured at 01:55 in the film.
IMPACT
The film premiered at Denmark’s largest green energy fair in April 2023, drawing significant attention and long queues. The advanced water render pipeline has since been refined and repurposed for other commercial and creative projects, becoming a core part of Khora’s production toolkit.
