The Garden Says… | Michelle & Uri Kranot
Client: Michelle Kranot & Uri Kranot
Target Medium: Pico G3
How can technology, art, and human interaction merge into a shared reality? The Garden Says… invites participants into a dreamlike mixed reality installation—an interactive, sensory garden where the boundaries between the physical and virtual dissolve.
Created by directors Michelle and Uri Kranot, with performances by Art of Listening and music by Montes, the project is a collaboration between Khora, The Animation Workshop, and a team of visionary artists. Originally developed as Garden Alchemy, the project took part in CPH:LAB and Venice Biennale College, earning the Eurimages Innovation Award. It was exhibited at Venice Biennale Cinema Immersive, and now The Garden Says… premieres at Kunsthal Charlottenborg during CPH:DOX INTER:ACTIVE from March 19 to 30, 2025.
In this living, hand-painted world, participants step into a vibrant audiovisual landscape through VR. They move weightlessly through the garden as shifting formations of light and particles, interacting with the environment and one another. Their movements shape and reveal hidden layers of meaning in the surreal scenography.
More than an installation, The Garden Says… is an invitation to explore new ways of meeting, sensing, and creating connections—with nature, technology, and each other.
