Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality in Education

Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality are technologies that can be used as tools in classroom teaching, making it possible for students to explore subjects in ways that have previously not been possible. By encouraging the use of visual, audio or kinesthetic senses, it can open up new ways of learning and expand a world beyond the classroom.

In scenarios where access to equipment is difficult, or the risk of making mistakes are too costly, virtual reality or augmented reality simulations can play a very important role in training professionals. Going through the physical movements can help with muscle memory, and seeing the actual machinery and tools is a much more effective learning method than reading a manual or watching a 2D video.
