Widex Allure | Widex

Client: Widex

Target Medium: Pico

Challenge
Widex, one of the world’s leading hearing aid manufacturers, wanted to give their teams a deeper emotional understanding of what hearing loss feels like. While their technology transforms lives, the lived experience of sound fading—or disappearing—can feel abstract to those who don’t face it themselves. To connect employees more personally to their purpose, Widex partnered with Khora to create an immersive journey through hearing loss and restoration.

Task
Khora developed a VR experience that begins with the slow, disorienting fade of familiar sounds—a child’s laugh, a loved one’s voice—and transitions into the clarity brought back by Widex Allure’s advanced hearing technology. The emotionally guided narrative captures the psychological toll of isolation and the profound relief of reconnection through sound.

Solution
Premiered at an internal Widex conference, the VR experience invited employees to walk in the shoes of those they serve. It became a moving tool for internal alignment, helping staff reconnect with the emotional heart of their mission. The project inspired empathy and reinvigorated purpose—reminding teams that every decibel regained represents a human story changed.

Client’s Testimony

” From the very beginning, they’ve been flexible, adaptable, and attentive to our needs and ideas. The result is an outstanding VR video that we’re incredibly proud of. A big thank you to Khora and the entire team behind this beautiful and creative production!
