Client: Teknologisk Institut, NNF, Danish Crown, Aalborg Universitet & DTU

Target Medium: HTC Vive

Task: Khora is developing integrations that translate robotic control software into VR/AR software, so that operator uses a virtual robot in a virtual environment to control a physical robot on the assembly line. Khora is now working on refining and scaling the integration.

A five year research project investigating how cobots (collaborative robots) can be used in industrial slaughterhouses to assist the employees who work there and involves several public institutions, research institutions and private actors.

Within the research project’s five-year timeframe, the ambition is to implement the simulations in AR glasses, such as Microsoft’s HoloLens.

The final aim of the product is to act as an assistance and training tool for slaughterhouse employees in their everyday lives.
