Vildheks | Østre Gasværk Teater

  Client: Østre Gasværk Teater Target Medium: HTC Vive and Cinema Task: For the adaption of Lene Kaaberøl’s romance to the theatre, Khora was asked to produce the cinematic trailer. And, aside to the theatre adaptation, Østre Gasværk Teater wanted to push the boundary of immersive storytelling, so they commissioned ‘Vildvejen’, a full-body Virtual Reality experience, blending theater and VR. In it, the audience assumes the role of Clara, the main character and ventures through the wild and magical forrest featured in the books and in the theater piece. The experience was designed and produced by Khora, according to the idea and concept of Østre Gasværk Teater. ‘Vildheks’ premiered on the 14th of September 2017. ‘Vildvejen’ premiered on the 16th of September 2017 and it could be experienced independently or as a part of ‘Vildheks’ upon ticket purchase.
